Today we depart to Taormina & Etna Volcano: first stop will be Taormina, an amazing Mediterranean resort. On arrival independent visit the Greek-Roman Theatre and admire the fantastic scenery and view. Time at leisure for shopping or exploring the town on your own. Later a short drive takes us to a winery on the slopes of Mt. Etna. On arrival transfer at local winery-farmhouse. This estate also produces olive oil, grappa, sparkling wine and artisan food. We indulge in a typical light-lunch at the farmhouse. During afternoon back to Catania port/hotel.

Today we depart by jeep to Etna Volcano: we will experience what the Greeks called "the realm of Vulcan (god of fire)" by Jeep, viewing along the way: Mount Fontana (view of Bove Valley), the Thieves Cave (grotta dei ladroni), extinct craters of Sartorius Mounts, and the lava flow from the 2002 eruption. Indulge in a snack or light-lunch (both meals are available on REQUEST) with tasting of typical Sicilian dishes. During the afternoon, off-road drive along the Linguaglossa-Castiglione and Alcantara Gorges. Short visit to the Canyon entrance. Later back to Catania port/hotel.

Today we drive along the freeway to Roccalumera. From there, the coastal road, rich of villas, flowering gardens, and picturesque villages, leads to the historical artist town of Savoca. In a private house in the village, Bar Vitelli houses a collection of local artisans' tools and photographs taken when Francis Ford Coppola shot scenes of The Godfather II. Stroll along the village's main street past Santa Lucia and San Michele churches for a short view over the valley. Drive away, we'll find a charming little village over-looking the Arab-Norman castle of Capo Sant'Alessio. In 1990, Al Pacino and Sophia Coppola shot scenes here for The Godfather III. From the main square, a lane meets the circular steps that ascend to the Gothic-Catalan portal in front of the Church of San Agostino. Later pass to Taormina. On arrival time at leisure for shop or explore the town on your own. During afternoon back to Catania port/hotel.

Today we depart to Taormina to meet Chef Angelo. A brief walk takes us to an open air market where we'll purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and all the ingredients necessary for the cooking course. Then back to the restaurant to start cooking. At the end of the cooking course, we will enjoy our scrumptious creations with the perfect compliment—a beautifully paired Sicilian wine. Dessert follows accompanied by a typical local Dessert wine. This afternoon at leisure to explore the town or shop on your own. Later back to Catania port/hotel.

Today we depart to Siracusa, the greatest city of Magna Graecia. On arrival stroll through the streets of Ortygia Island, the heart of the city center. Here we will enjoy a collective boat excursion around the island of Ortigia to admire the city and the Castle. Time at leisure. Than this afternoon before go back to Catania, we will stop to the Archaeological Park for an independent visit to the Greek Theatre, the Roman Anphitheatre and the Paradise Quarry. Later back to Catania port/hotel.
